Carl Leon Hendricks, Sr. entered eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the age of 80. He was a native of Springhill, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Carl proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army, a role he carried with honor and dedication. Known for his strength, wisdom, and love of family, Carl will be remembered for the values he instilled and examples he set. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Beloved husband of the late Viola Harkless Hendricks. Devoted father of Carl Hendrick, Jr. and Vincent Hendricks. Carl is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, loving siblings, other relatives and friends whose lives were touched by his presence. Private services were held.
