Carl John Hultine

Born in Manchester Ct, Kip was the son of the late Carl E Hultine and Doris (Mahoney) Hultine. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy (Cappello) Hultine, his children, Amy Bickford and her husband Russell and Gabe Libutti and his wife Melissa Polce, and his grandchildren Alex Pizzuti, Maddie Pizzuti and Chloe Bickford. He also leaves his sister, Carolyn Baeszler, his nephew John Baeszler, his niece Karin Baeszler and her children Stephanie Lamantia and Nicole Crugnale. Kip leaves many extended family members and good friends.
Kip graduated from the Providence Country Day School in 1966 and Wagner College in 1970. He lived most of his life in Rumford RI. He worked with his father in the family business, the former J. B. Watson Insurance Agency, earned the CPCU designation and took over the business when his father retired.
Kip enjoyed life, good conversation and valued his good friends. He loved the game of golf and was a member of Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. He was previously a member of Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford RI for many years where he developed life long friendships and had wonderful memories. Kip loved to travel and was happy at the ocean, especially the time he spent on Block Island.
We are thankful for the care that he received from the medical community in Bradenton and Sarasota. We are most grateful for the love and care that was given Kip by friends and family throughout his illness.
A private memorial gathering will be held in the future and his final resting place will be in Swan Point Cemetery in Providence RI. Donations to Tidewell Hospice (tidewellfoundation.org) in Kip's memory would be appreciated.
