Marjorie Rose Lariviere passed away peacefully at Sarasota Hospice on October 29, 2025 in Sarasota Florida.
She was born on June 26, 1939, in Meridan, Connecticut. The first child of Elaine and Frank Sinescalco, Marge was raised in Meridan and attended schools there.
In 1957 she married Bernard Orne of Boothbay Harbor. They lived in Middlefield and had three sons before moving to Maine in 1971. In 1986 Marge married J. Richard "Dick" Lariviere before moving to Venice, Florida. Marje loved her trips to Maine every summer. She enjoyed Old Orchard Beach and Lobster bakes with family. She painted ceramics for years and loved to gift family with Christmas décor every year. Marge enjoyed a 19-year career as a CNA/CRMA, In 1999 she was awarded the outstanding service award. Marge and Dick took a trip to San Diego for an awards ceremony.
Surviving is her husband of 40 years, Dick Lariviere of Venice, Florida; her brother, Frank Crandall of Edmonton, Ky; her sister, Ellen and brother in law, Bob Montenieri of Estero, FL; sister, Pam Pernel of Hartford, Ct; her three sons, Mike Orne and wife Brenda of Standish, Me, Edward Orne and wife Marie of So. Portland, Me, Jeffrey Orne and wife Nancy of Biddeford, Me; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held in Standish at the home of Mike and Brenda Orne on December 6, 2025.
