Ronald Theodore Lariviere, 74, of Sarasota, Florida and Cumberland, Rhode Island passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025 with the love of his family surrounding him.

Ron was born on September 12, 1951 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to the late Jean Paul and Leona (Dumas) Lariviere. He was raised in a family known for hard work, perseverance, and leadership. While many of his relatives built their careers in the restaurant and food industry, Ron forged his own path in home improvement and construction. After learning the trade, he founded Stateside Vinyl Siding in Pawtucket in 1972. More than five decades later, Stateside continues to thrive as a family business and nothing made him more proud than to see that legacy carried by his son, Adam and the team he helped build.

His greatest lifelong hobby was golf. A dedicated and enthusiastic golfer for 30 years, Ron played many of the finest courses across the United States and Europe. He participated in countless tournaments. Ron and his wife Marianne were deeply involved members of Pawtucket Country Club, where fellow members became cherished friends and ultimately family. They were also members of Palm Aire Country Club, Sarasota, Florida.

As a man of strong passions and an unmistakable zest for life, he loved watching football, boating, listening to music, discovering new restaurants, attending concert and theater, traveling, and starting major home projects with little to no warning. Nothing brought him more happiness than gathering wife his wife and family, trading stories and jokes.

Ron leaves behind his dear and devoted wife of 20 years, Marianne (Faucher) Lariviere, whose love, steadiness, and companionship were central to his life. Together they built a blended family he cared for deeply.

He is also survived by his loving children, Adam Lariviere and his wife Joanna of Attleboro, MA, and Cara Fisk and her husband Court of Pawtucket, whom he shared with their mother Donna Lariviere; his cherished bonus children, Michael Marchetti of Cumberland and Marissa Marchetti of Florida; and his treasured granddaughters, Reagan and Riley Lariviere. He is also survived by his brother Mark Lariviere and his wife Cathy of New York; his sister, Diane Marchetti and her husband Albert of Cranston; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Paula R. Farrell and Carol A. Kane.

Ron's life was defined by generosity, loyalty, humor, and a deep commitment to family and community. His legacy will continue through the people he loved, the business he built, and the countless lives he touched.

Visiting Hours will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm with a Prayer Service at 12:30 pm at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Following the Prayer Service, a gathering of family and friends to trade stories and celebrate Ron's life will be held a Pawtucket Country Club, 900 Armistice Boulevard, Pawtucket.
