Carl Lambert Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home - Harpers Ferry on Jan. 5, 2026.
Carl Anderson Lambert, Jr., 60, of Martinsburg, WV, known to his family as "Andy", passed away at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility peacefully, Saturday, January 3, 2026 from a long battle of Pancreatic cancer that he fought hard until the very end.

He was born January 9, 1965 in Prince Georges County, MD to the late Carl Anderson Lambert, Sr. and late Carleen Hazel Schatz Lambert.

Carl was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 100 for over 15 years. He worked for Bowers Construction, formerly Pierce Mechanical as a shop foreman and enjoyed working with his coworkers in the shop. He was always willing to help anyone out when needed. He had a heart of gold.

He provided for his family and he thought of his two stepsons, Derrick and Tyler as his own. He loved them unconditionally. He was loved by so many people. He loved becoming a Pappy to Oliver and enjoyed the 7 months he had with him. He told Pam and his family that he didn't know what love was until he held his grandson in his arms. He loved taking naps with him and said they were the best naps he had ever taken. He also had a special bond with his Uncle Marv Goldschmidt, and with his great niece, Scarlett. She was the light of his life. Everyone who knew Carl loved him. He was still in good spirits until the very end.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Pamela S. Jenkins Lambert, two stepsons, Derrick Cline and Tyler Cline of Martinsburg, one grandson, Oliver Cline of Martinsburg, one brother, Stephen "Dennis" Lambert and wife, Michele of Metane, LA and several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, nephews, aunt and uncles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Mary "Meese" Sturgis and his Aunt Kathy Bigelow.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor John Ellifritz officiating.
