Dodgeville: Carl Philip "Bunky" Lefebvre, age 87, of Dodgeville, passed away at his son's home in Marquette on February 5, 2026, with family by his side.

Carl was born on August 30, 1938, a son of Philip and Eleanor (Allwin) Lefebvre. He attended Saint Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1957. While he was a teen, Carl worked at the Little Gem Theater in Lake Linden. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was sent to Korea for 2 years during the Korean Conflict. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Carl worked as a personal assistant for Mr. Herman Gundlach for 44 years and Carl felt that he was treated like a son.

In 1960, Carl was married to Irene Tervo by Monsignor Raymond of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Linden.

Carl liked to play hockey. He enjoyed biking, walking, and flying RC airplanes. He was very proud of his classic car- a 1969 and a half Road-Runner.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, sister- Rose Helen, and brother-Phil.

Carl is survived by: his wife-Irene, 2 sons-Kevin (Donelle) Lefebvre of Oconto Falls, WI and Keith (Debbie) Lefebvre of Marquette, 2 grandsons-Brendan of Austin, TX, and Konner (Maddy) Lefebvre of Marquette; granddaughter-Crystal Beaumont of Marquette; brothers-Urban of Marquette and Ray (Chris) of Knoxville, TN; sister-in-law-Joyce of Lake Linden; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wishes to thank the special nurses and care-aids: Bella, Addie, and Michelle of Lake Superior Hospice.

The graveside service with Military Rites will be held in the Spring at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
