Shirley Lorraine LeFebvre

Shirley Lorraine LeFebvre (Mattson), 91, of Nashua, NH, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA.

Shirley was born in 1934 to Morgan Mattson and Astrid Backstrom Mattson in Halifax, Massachusetts. In 1957 she married John Marshall LeFebvre and a year later they welcomed their first born, Keith and in 1959 their daughter, Karen. For many years Shirley worked in the medical community in Lowell, MA for Dr. Ray Gilmore and then All Saints hospitals. Shirley and Marshall raised their family in Billerica, MA and enjoyed spending time on their boat or at their lake house in Maine.

Shirley is survived by her son, Keith LeFebvre and wife Anne of Windham, NH; daughter Karen Walther and husband Kevin of Summerville, SC; grandchildren Timothy LeFebvre (Jacqueline), Marcus LeFebvre, and Sarah Prohovich (Kyle), Jena, Jessica, and Jared Ward; and great grandchildren Jordan, Jameson, and Josie Ward, Declan LeFebvre, Grant and Axel LeFebvre, Teagan and Jack Prohovich.

Her family would like to thank the amazing staff at Nashua Crossing Assisted Living and the kindness shown at the High Pointe House for their care and compassion.

Per her wishes, there will be no services to announce at this time. A celebration of life will be held this spring followed by a burial at the Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica, MA.
