He was also actively involved in his community, serving in many different capacities on the Lapel Town Council, and as a member of the Lapel Lions Club, Lapel Eagles Aerie #4323, and the Lapel American Legion Post #212 where he made many dear friends. Tony loved coin collecting and enjoyed his time in his younger years being a volunteer fireman in Michigan. Above all, he loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Amy; two children, Vanessa (spouse, Dennis) Campbell and Heath (spouse, Katy) Pearson; three siblings, Francis "Butch" Pearson, Michael "Mike" Pearson, and Thomas "Tom" Pearson; four grandchildren, Anna (spouse, Quentin) Norrick, Ella Pearson, Myles Campbell, and Will Campbell; and one great-grandchild, Charlotte Norrick.
