Mr. Carl Leroy Presley, of Calhoun, Tennessee, passed away early Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at his residence following a brief illness. He was 76 years old. His unwavering faith saw him through his life's many challenges.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Poole Funeral Home Chape Cleveland with Rev. Jim Hibbard officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Poole Funeral Home Cleveland directing. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2025, at the funeral home.
Mr. Presley was born November 20, 1948, in Chattanooga, TN to the late Jesse Carl and Frances Hyde Presley. Mr. Presley served in the U.S. Air Force and served two tours in Vietnam. After serving his country honorably he returned home and worked at Sequoyah in Security Police and later retired from the Bailey Company after more than fifteen plus years of service. Mr. Presley was an Artist who portrayed the beauty of nature in his paintings of landscapes and seascapes. He also loved gold panning, music, singing and being outdoors.
Mr. Presley was preceded in death by his parents, also his wife Brenda Presley on March 7, 2025.
Survivors include his son, David Presley, Ringgold, GA; step daughter, Suzane Coulter (Darby Womac), Calhoun, TN; step son, Gregory E. Coulter (Victoria), Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Cole Rogers, Alan Womac, Chelsea Crowe(Matt); several great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Curtis (Dan), Ringgold, GA., Jenny Redish (Marty), and Lori Mellencamp (Jeff) all of Chattanooga, TN; a brother, Mark Presley; several nieces and nephews.
