Carl Ramjohn Obituary
Carl S. Ramjohn, 79, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
Carl was born March 15, 1945, in Trinidad to the late Ellen Pulchan. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Rosetta Rambaran and Amoy Seunarine; and nephew, Reagan Seunarine.
Carl enjoyed dancing and cooking. He will be remembered for his laugh and love for life. Carl was lovingly known as "Pops." Most of all, family was everything to him. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and uncle.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, AnnMarie Ramjohn of Charlotte, NC; son, Darryl (Gloria) Ramjohn of Harrisburg, NC; son, Gregory (Jay) Ramjohn of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Marisa Ramjohn of Westbury, NY; four grandchildren, Amanda Ramjohn, Allison Ramjohn, Alicia Ramjohn, and Jonathon Carl Ramjohn; nephews, Ronald Seunarine, Lincoln Rambaran, and Dennis Seepersad; and nieces, Indra Warren, Cindy Mohammed, Jennifer Seunarine; and brother-in-law, Carl Mooloo.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:45 pm, Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel. The service will be webcast, starting at 1:45 pm: Webcast Service Link A reception will follow the service in the funeral home reception hall.
