Carl Dean Ray, or CD as he was known, lived a full life. He loved his motorcycle club. He loved his son Rugger and his girlfriend Tina.
He lived for motorcycle runs with his club brothers. He also really enjoyed fishing. He was known to take a fishing pole on runs and could be found at the nearest river or lake with his fishing pole in the water.
CD had no one trade but had many. He could remodel a house, build or paint anything, weld, build a custom green house, and repair plumbing. CD engineered many custom amenities for his motorcycle making it more comfortable and practical to use. He did it all. CD's skillset was unique. He was someone that could be counted on.
CD was quiet by nature. But when he spoke, it was something you should listen to. His wit was sharp and incredibly funny.
From his Club Brothers:
On May 3rd, 2025, the Outsiders MC lost not just a member - but a Legend.
Carl Dean Ray, known to all of us as "CD", was a pillar of our club. CD was an Outsider whose loyalty, honor and respect made him unforgettable. He didn't just wear the patch; he lived it. With a steady throttle and a ready hand, he gave everything to the Outsiders. His legacy will live on in every mile we ride from here on out.
CD led by example. He had a calm confidence, a sharp wit, and a quiet strength that brought people together. He had our backs in the worst of times and was first to raise a glass in the best of times. His laugh, his wisdom, and his presence will echo forever in our clubhouse and on the open road.
Though he may have taken his final ride, CD's spirit is with us still, in every engine's roar, every sunset ride, and every tale told.
We ride with you forever Brother.
