Carl J. Rubenacker

Carl J. Rubenacker 81, of Hawthorne passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Born in Montclair to the late Jean and Robert Rubenacker. Before retiring, Carl was the owner of Siegel's Hardware in Wood-Ridge for 44 years. He was a member and a past president of the Wood-Ridge Lions Club. Beloved husband of Jackie (nee Stuerzel) Rubenacker. Devoted father of Dawn Alvarez and her husband Jose, Joline Mascis and her husband Peter, Matthew Rubenacker and his wife Christina, Shawn Rubenacker and his wife Annamarie. Loving grandfather of Deion, David and his wife Emily, Carter, Devyn, Dreena, Lea, Tyler, Eryn and Hailey and four step grandchildren, Gia, Olivia, Bella and Nico. Predeceased by his brother Walter and his daughter-in-law Paula.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Monday, December 22nd at 10:30 AM. Funeral Liturgy from the Church of the Sacred Heart in Rochelle Park at 11:30 AM. Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Sunday, December 21st from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Wood-Ridge Lions Club or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
