Rose Ann Cuccinello

Cuccinello, Rose Ann (nee DeVito), age 102 of Wayne, on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Born in Paterson, Rose had resided in Paterson and moved to Hawthorne in 1977, after which she had moved to Wayne.

Primarily a homemaker, Rose did work at Spann's Bakery in Hawthorne, and later as a cafeteria aide at Hawthorne High School. Rose was a former parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church in Hawthorne as well as a U.S Army World War II Veteran, serving from 1944 to 1946. She earned the American Service Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.

Rose Ann Cuccinello was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Cuccinello (2006). Loving father of Lois Cuccinello of Lakewood, Nj, and the late Thomas Cuccinello (2011). Dear grandmother of Michael Dominguez and Joshua Cuccinello. Sister of the late Gilda Maas, Millie Dino, Shirley Maggio, and Phillis Dockray.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at the Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday morning, prior to the service from 10:00am to 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
