Carl E. Joseph Ruth Sr., age 45, of Golden City, Missouri passed away December 30, 2023, at his home.
Carl was born March 28, 1978, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Carl Ewell Ritter and Precious Sarah (Sparks) Ritter. On July 22, 1995, Carl married Amy Elizabeth Onka in Lamar, MO.
Carl was a self-employed handyman and mechanic. He also worked for Lakeside Speedway and Credit Motors. He loved music, building model cars and spending time with the grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Amy; a daughter, Amy Lee (Lucas) Lowe of Golden City, MO; a son, Carl E. Joseph Ruth Jr. (Bailey Eckhoff) of Golden City, MO; a daughter, Cheyenne Moriah Autumn Ruth (Brandon Lee Rowden); his father, Carl Ritter; nine grandchildren, Jayden, Adalyn, Harper, Silas, Adrian, Sayler, Koltyn, Bri and Rae; two brothers, Brian James Ruth and Hiram Christopher Ruth; four sisters, Victoria Lynn (Billy Elder), Patricia (Mark) Miller, Shelly (Curtis) Cox and Vickie (Randy) Morrison; six aunts, Patricia Stump, Jeanette Ritter, Kathy Ritter, Vanessa Ritter, Rosie Ritter and Alberta (David) Webber; eight uncles, Homer Sparks, Donnie Sparks, Hiram Sparks, Sanford Love, Mitch Knight, Kenny Ritter, Tommy Ritter, and John Ritter, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his mother, Precious Ritter; step-dad, Warren Grove; mother-in-law, Amy Onka; aunt, Kathy Haynes; two brothers-in-law, Patrick Lynn and Tim Long; one aunt, Lulamae Ritter; Grandparents, Martha and John Ritter and Hiram and Betty Lou Sparks.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2024 at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar, Missouri.
