Carl Lee Simpson, 84, of St. Peters, MO, died on August 6, 2025.
Carl was born in Perry County, Arkansas. After he graduated from highschool, Carl served in the United States Navy (1958-61). After his service was complete he received his Bachelors of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Carl had a long career as an aircraft mechanic (retiring in 2002) and earned his private pilots license in 1964. He loved history, his adopted rescue dogs and his grandson, Joshua.
Carl is survived by his daughter, Krisana Lee Simpson, and his grandson, Joshua Carl Lee Simpson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben Clay Simpson and Eva Lina (Harrison) Simpson and his four sisters, Lila June Hanold, Eutana Kerwood, Jaqueline Gleason and Wynelle Simpson.
Family has chosen to mourn privately and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry.
