Carl Sorg Obituary

Mr. Sorg was born in Hagerstown, MD on February 16, 1948, son of the late Fred Albert Sorg and the late Mary Ellen Burkholder Sorg. He was a United State Marine veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Sorg was also a member of the Homer American Legion and Atlanta Backgammon Club.
Survivors include his daughter, Amy Renee Sorg of Wichita, KS; sister, N, Ellen Sorg McCully of Royston, GA; and brother, Mike Sorg of Lexington, AL.
A graveside service for Mr. Sorg will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. During other times the family will be at their respective homes.
Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
