Carla Claustro Obituary
After enjoying her long, accomplished career as a registered nurse in multiple critical care units and as a nursing supervisor, she could always be found outside enjoying the sunshine.
Whether it was tending to her flower garden, bike riding, a walk, or simply opening up all the windows in the house, she loved the fresh air and everything nature had to offer. Carla always found the beauty in the simplicity of life.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, May 3rd from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. A short service will take place from 6:00 until 6:30pm. For funeral info, please visit www.smithcorcoran.com or 847-359-8020.

I worked with Carla, your wife, your Mom at Good Shepherd. She was so sweet, took things in stride and was always focused on the best for the patients and the nurses. Be so proud of her, as I am proud to have had the opportunity to work with her. Think of all the people who´s lives she impacted and changed. A really great person and nurse.
