Carla Lee Gale

Carla Lee Gale, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away in Calgary, Alberta on October 13, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on Friday, May 22, 1964, in High River, Alberta, Carla was raised in Calgary and later moved to Drumheller during her children’s early years. Eventually, she returned to Calgary, where she nurtured a loving home for her family in the Forest Lawn area.

Described by those who knew her as social, charismatic, and exceptionally loving, Carla welcomed everyone as friends, often bringing them into her life with open arms and a big heart. Her warmth and generosity left a profound impact on all those fortunate enough to have crossed her path. She welcomed those she loved into her family with unconditional love and support.

Carla is survived by her children, James Gale and Laurel Dawe; her granddaughters, Harmony and Jaina; and her grandsons, Dale and Nicholas. Additionally, she held dear her many family members and close friends, who all cherished her spirit and kindness.

A Celebration of Life in her honor is scheduled for November 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Pierson's Funeral Services ( 4121 17 Ave SE, Calgary, Alberta)

Carla Lee Gale will be fondly remembered as a loving matriarch whose life was marked by her unwavering devotion to family and friends, and whose vibrant personality will continue to inspire those who knew her.
