Carla J Geleott

Carla Jean Geleott (née Keehn), known to some as 'Budjit,' was born on July 2, 1964, and passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, in Walkerton at the age of 60. She battled cancer for several years with the same tight grip she held throughout life. She lived by her own rules, could start an argument in an empty room, and loved her family fiercely-the best way she knew how.
Carla was the daughter of Art Keehn, who preceded her in death in 2004, and Loretta Keehn, who survives her. Carla had a happy childhood in Koontz Lake, filled with adventures, playful mischief with her siblings, and memorable family road trips. She was also preceded in death by her older sister, Sherry Brown, in 2015. She is survived by her siblings Bruce Keehn, Kathy (Dennis) Cooper, Mark Keehn, and Pam Tucker, as well as her children Kristen (Paul) Kabacinski and Gary (Nick) McCormick, and her grandchildren Lydia (Jake), Rylee, and Owyn, who, together with her large, extended family, will all remember her with love.
Carla will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held on June 20. She never liked the cold-summer was her favorite time of year, so we invite you to celebrate her with us on the first day of summer. The exact time and location will be confirmed at a later date.
