Carla Ann Jacks, age 64, of Pine Bluff went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 11, 2025. She was born September 10, 1961, in Star City, Arkansas to Burley Dwain Williams and Barbara Lou Williams. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1979. She later graduated from Jefferson School of Nursing in 1985.
Carla retired from a dedicated career as a registered nurse after 36 years of caring for her patients. Her family was proud of her.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother Barbara Lou Jacks, her devoted husband of 40 years, Steve Jacks, her daughters Casie Jackson (Trent) and Keely Williams (Matt); her grandchildren Regan Butcher (Jacob), Evan Raymick (Sunny), Melody Raymick, Landon Jacks, Clayton Jackson, Lexi Chandler, and Landree Williams; great- granddaughter Kinley Grace Raymick and Baby Girl Butcher expected to arrive in January 2026; siblings Sherry Cameron, Dorothy Lemley (Donald), Brenda Valentine (Chuck), and Wesley Williams (Amanda); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Buie in Rison. Intermittent will be at Rowell Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be James Smith, Timmy Lunsford, Billy Lunsford, Wesley Williams, Trent Jackson, Matt Williams, Landon Jacks, and Clayton Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Evan Raymick and Colton Williams.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the kind and caring ICU nurses that helped to care for our beautiful, strong Carla.
