Carla Stephen

Carla Theresa Stephen (74) passed away on February 2nd, 2024 in Roswell, NM.
It was her wish that there not be any services. She didn't want there to be any fuss. Please just keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers.
On November 28th 1949 Carla Theresa Stephen was born to George and Velma Mathews in Crosbyton Texas. The Family settled in Artesia, NM where Carla graduated from Artesia high school. After high school she married Jerry Raye Stephen on December 9th, 1967 and not long after that they moved to Roswell, NM and lived there raising their 3 children. She worked for the New Mexico Military Institute as the cadet store manager for many years while raising a family. She was a selfless, giving, and loving person who always was happiest taking care of others. She was loved by many and her passing will be felt deeply by them all.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Raye Stephen, her mother and father George and Velma Mathews, her brother and sister in law Benny and Arla Mathews, her sister and brother in law Sonya and Archie harper, and her daughter Stephanie Michelle Reynalds.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, William "Billy" Paul Raye Stephen and Jill Stephen, Her Daughter and son in law, Charity Hope Leyba and joe Leyba, son in law Dennis Reynalds and granddaughters Amber Stephen, Lacie Stephen, Jessica Gonzales, Kaytlyn Sedillo, Jada Leyba, Kallie Leyba. And great Grandchildren, Maddux Hidalgo, Marriana Hidalgo, Avyanna Sedillo, Zamari Sedillo, Sophia Stephen, Brayden Harrison, Kynna Bradley, Ayla Davis, Milah Gozales, Alora Davis, Raelynn Gozales, Joshua Gonzales Jr.
