Carla Ann Wiseman, age 76, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on May 30, 2025. Born on September 8, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the cherished daughter of Carl and Anna Marie Richardson.
Carla dedicated many years to her career as a florist, beginning her journey at Queen Art Flowers in Kansas City. Her passion for floral design led her to open her own business, Carla's Corner, in Martin City, Missouri, where she proudly owned and operated the establishment for over 20 years. In addition to her work in floristry, she lent her talents to assist her late son, Warren, with his landscaping company, showcasing her love for nature and creativity in all she did.
An alumna of Ruskin High School, Carla graduated in 1966 before furthering her education at Baker University. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Larry Dean Wiseman, on June 29, 1968, at the Longview United Methodist Church. Together, they built a life filled with love and family.
Carla held dear the memories of annual fishing trips to Minnesota, which she enjoyed with her family in her younger years, a testament to her love for nature and family bonding. Known for her keen eye for finding great bargains and antiques, she had a knack for uncovering treasures that delighted both her family and friends.
Carla is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Dean Wiseman; her loving daughter, Wendi Nichols; her cherished grandchildren, Russell Wiseman and Carlie Nichols; and her brother, Robert Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Anna Marie Richardson, and her son, Warren Wiseman.
Carla's warm spirit, dedication to her family and profession, and loving nature will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her life was a remarkable journey filled with kindness, creativity, and love.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Louisburg United Methodist Church, 249 N Metcalf Rd, Louisburg, Kansas 66053. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at the Louisburg Cemetery following the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made payable to the American Stroke Foundation or the American Kidney Fund, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, P.O. Box 669, Louisburg, Kansas 66053.
