Carlo J Massaro

Carlo J. Massaro, age 85, of Columbia, NJ, passed away on February 9, 2025. He was born on November 29, 1939, in Harlem, NY, to Charles and Lucy (Tito) Massaro. Carlo lived in several places throughout his life, including Bergenfield, Monroe, Westwood, and Rivervale, before settling in Columbia, NJ, three years ago.
A passionate car lover, Carlo had a special appreciation for both antique and classic cars. He also cherished time spent outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing, which brought him great joy.
He was the devoted husband of Kathleen Massaro, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Carlo was a loving father to his children, Martha Anastasiou and Carl Massaro, and a proud grandfather to his granddaughters, Cora and Charlotte Massaro. He is also survived by his siblings, Angelina Gaudiuso, Pauline Luciani, and Dominick Massaro, along with many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Carlo's warmth, love for life, and sense of adventure will be remembered by all who knew him. His family takes comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in their hearts forever.
A private visitation and prayer service happened at the family's convenience. Arrangements are under the direction of Newbaker Funeral Home, Blairstown, NJ.
