The sun rose on the life of Carlos Lee Chambers on May 20, 1980, in Aurora, Colorado to Shelley Duncan Chambers and Bernard Lee Chambers. Carlos was the oldest child, leaving his sister Jasmine Lima-Marin of Aurora, Colorado.

Carlos began his education at Laredo Elementary and Hinkley High School. Carlos performed various jobs painting throughout Colorado. Before his health began to fail, he was an industrial worker at Alliance Glazing and Element 13 companies installing windows until his health began to fail.

Carlos was a Christian who loved the Lord. He definitely believed in prayer. On various cookouts and holiday dinners, you could always count on him to bless our food, the only problem was getting him to stop praying so we could eat. Carlos also loved music, dancing and singing around the house.

“To know Carlos was to love him.” He was a funny guy with a great sense of humor. One of his sayings was “It’s coming in hot!” Carlos was also a compassionate and empathetic person, always ready to lend a helping hand to strangers, even before considering his own needs. That selflessness was a core part of his character.

Carlos loved to cook and could take a little bit of food and turn it into a big meal. He loved BBQ. He had four grills and would have all four going at the same time. “Yes, to know Carlos, was to love him.

” The sun set on the life of Carlos Lee Chambers on July 23, 2025, at the age of 45, when the Lord called him home to eternal rest.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Shelley Chambers, his father, Bernard Chambers, his sister, Jasmine (Rene) Lima-Marin, his children, Carlos Chambers Jr. and Ciana Chambers, of Aurora, CO, Camora Chambers, Isaiah Moton, and Darian Moton of Fayetteville, GA; four grandchildren, his grandmother, Gilda Taylor, a special aunt, Tarika Collins, a niece Latia Archuleta of Aurora, CO, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
