Carlos Charles Obituary
Carlos was the loving husband of Amparo Rodriguez, whom he married on November 2, 1951. Their union was blessed with a beautiful family, including their children Leticia Sanchez and her husband Jose Alfa Sanchez, Arthur Charles, Carolina Luna and her husband Billy Luna, and Violet Briones. Carlos was a proud grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather to numerous descendants who will carry on his legacy of kindness and strength.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos Charles and Carolina Ortiz, and his son, Carlos Charles Jr. Carlos's life was a testament to his character: a good father who always ensured his family's well-being, a protector of his daughters, and a man of faith who never missed a church service.
Carlos's zest for life was evident in his love for dancing with his wife during their younger years and his unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys, with Troy Aikman holding a special place as his favorite quarterback.
Those who knew Carlos will remember him as a loving and faith-filled man, whose presence was a source of comfort and joy. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide his family and all who were blessed to know him. Carlos Charles Sr. will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those he touched.
Viewing will be held from 12pm to 8pm Tuesday, January 16, 2024 and from 10am to 6pm Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at 6pm Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2pm Thursday, January 18, 2024 at St. Anthony's Church. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Parkside Chapel Funeral Directors.
