Carlos Olarte, 82, of Brownville, Texas, born in Mexico on September 16, 1942. He was a
devoted husband, father, son, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, entered
eternal rest on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carlos Olarte Sanchez, and Maria Natividad Ramos; his
paternal grandfather, Carlos Olarte Montes de Oca; paternal grandmother Ana Maria Sanchez
Luna. Maternal grandfather Jose Natividad Ramos, maternal grandmother Maria Carlota
Barranco.

Left to cherish his wife Ernestina Olarte; his children, Sonia Olarte Galicia, Guillermo Olarte
Galicia, Norma A. Olarte Galicia, Alejandra G. Olarte Galicia, Ursula Olarte Galicia, and Lourdes
Olarte Galicia; his sibilings, Marta Olarte Ramos, Justo Olarte Ramos, Hector Olarte Ramos,
Victor Olarte Ramos, and Cutverto Olarte Ramos; his grandchildren, Oscar Garcia, Karla Garcia
de Cruz, Guillermo D. Olarte, Sebastian Olarte, Billy J. Burgess, Marco A. Sorto, Gabriel A.
Sorto, Miguel A. Sorto, Jorge R. Sorto, Brenda E. Villalvazo and great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, with a
Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the
end of the evening.

Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop.
