I miss my brother. I found two photos that remind me of Carlos. The first is from our Knob year. The second is from the early 1980s when I had flown to Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico. Carlos picked me up from the airfield and we had a blast while he showed me the Puerto Rico that he'd grown up in. This photo is Carlos buying ice-cold coconuts for us to drink. Carlos told me that we'd need to drink a couple of these before we tried any Don Q... Carlos was a wonderful husband, father, physician, and friend!

Carlos pasó por el mundo haciendo el bien. Papá Dios se lo llevó VIP al Cielo, donde nos espera, después de que también nosotros hayamos sido buenos cristianos. Un fuerte y cordial abrazo. P. José A. Basols

Although I didn't know Carlos personally as a cadet at The Citadel, I remember that smile every time I saw him. He always seemed to enjoy whatever he was doing. What a great story of his life and how he helped so many. I know his family is very proud to have him as their husband, father, and friend. He will be missed by all, but we will be reunited in our eternal home.

I will always be grateful for having Carlos as my friend. Carlos and Cristina raised three wonderful sons. They are a wonderful family and our prayers are with them. Kim and I send our love.
