Carlos Serda Jr.

Carlos Serda Jr. age 87, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026 with his family by his side after a brief illness. Carlos was born September 19, 1938 to the parents of Carlos Sr. and Carolina Serda. Carlos was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Lydia Maria Serda on November 8, 2025.

Carlos is survived by his three children Andrew, Carol and Ernest and four grandchildren Avery, Vanessa, Monique and Thomas. Carlos had one daughter in law Angelica Serda.

Carlos was a proud veteran and a devoted family man who loved his family and friends deeply. He will be remembered for his dedication, strength, and love he shared with those closest to him.

Carlos was a member of the NM Air National Guard and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. Carlos was also a real estate agent and an accomplished musician in additional to many other attributes he perfected.

Carlos had a true zest for life and loved traveling, always finding joy in new places and experiences. Carlos had a love of planes, trains and automobiles and often discussed his passion with such elaborate and detailed stories.

Carlos will be remembered for his deep catholic faith and his generosity he showed to others. Carlos will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on March 27, 2026 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church located at 4020 Lomas Bd. NE Viewing will begin at 9:00 AM until 9:15 AM. A Rosary will be held at 9:15 AM until 9:35 AM followed by the eulogy at 9:35 AM until 9:45 AM. Mass will begin immediately at 9:45 AM.

Burial will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery located 501 Guadalupe St Santa Fe at 12:30.
