Carlos Ray "Yogi" Slone age 73 of Hindman, Kentucky passed away on Thursday August 21, 2025, at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, KY. He was born on October 25, 1951, in Hazard, Ky to the late Marcus and Virgie Slone. He was the husband of the late Harriett Slone.

"Yogi" is survived by his Daughter: Melissa Karen (Gary) Slone; Brother: Ralph (Karen) Slone; Sister: Opal Slone; Granddaughter: Charity Slone (Kyle Moore); Great-Grandchildren: Liam Cain Moore & Levi Wayne Moore;

Special Friend: Louie B. Colter; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family & Special Friends

"Yogi" is preceded in passing by his Wife: Harriett Slone; Parents: Marcus and Virgie Slone; Daughter: Debbie Slone;

Brother: Vertis Rodney "Hunk" Slone.

The family will receive friends Saturday August 23, 2025, from 6PM-10PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, KY with service at 7PM with Freddy Compton, Kelly Slone and Daniel Jacobs officiating.

Funeral Services will be on Sunday August 24, 2025, at 1PM at the funeral home chapel with Jeffrey Hall, Roy Slone and Mikie Slone officiating. Burial will follow at the Delza Slone Family Cemetery in Garner, KY. "Yogi" will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
