Rochester, NY: January 12, at the age of 88. He is survived by his sister, Consuelo Torres Jaramillo of Lima, Peru; two sons, Carlos E. Torres (Pokey); Christopher Torres (Amy); and 4 grandchildren Noah, Lindsay, Jacob and Leah. Dr. Torres was a faculty member and a practitioner (beloved by his patients) in the Department of Pediatric Neurology at the University of Rochester for over 20 years.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Sisters of St. Joseph, 314 Gregory Street on January 17th, gathering at 10:30, service at 11am with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to The Rochester Alzheimer's Association, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd Ste 110, Rochester, NY.

Carlos was a special guy. I enjoyed our time together. Loved sitting by canal and watching the birds and people go by. God bless you Carlos.
