Celebrating the vibrant life of Carlota Armendariz, who was born on April 18, 1938, in Mexico, and who passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, in Monahans, Texas, at the age of 87. Carlota, a beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother, filled the lives of those around her with joy, laughter, and love.
She will be warmly remembered for her love of dancing, her incredible cooking, and the cherished moments spent with her family. A devoted mother of eight, including Elva Arriola, Yolanda Calvert, Efrain Armendariz, Flavio Armendariz, Rosalio Armendariz, and Otoniel Armendariz, Carlota leaves behind an astonishing legacy of 89 grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry her spirit forward.
Carlota found joy in the simple pleasures of life: playing bingo with friends, listening to Norteno music, and celebrating family gatherings. Her warmth and vibrant personality enriched every room she entered. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ramon Armendariz, and her dear sons Felipe N. Armendariz and Ramon Armendariz Jr.
To honor Carlota's life and spirit, the following funeral services and ceremonies will be held:
- A rosary will be recited at St. John Catholic Church on August 26, 2025, at 9:00 AM.
- A Mass will follow at the same church, starting at 10:00 AM.
- Finally, a graveside service will take place at Monahans Memorial Cemetery, located at 400 S. Helen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756, on August 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Carlota's remarkable life and the indelible impact she left on all who knew her. Her legacy will forever resonate in our hearts and memories.
