Carlton C Francis

Our beloved Carlton Carlisle Francis (affectionately called Harry by his family) quietly transitioned from this world on October 17th, 2025. He was born in Barbados on April 28th, 1960, to the late Esther Joyce and Reynold Theophilus Francis. In 1986, Carlton migrated to start new beginnings in his life, in the United States. One of his promising turning points began at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell hospital in 1987; until his departure from this world.
Through his journey he touched many lives with kindness, dedication, humor, and his unwavering spirit of perseverance. His remarkable life will forever be an inspiration and will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Left behind to cherish his memories are:
His wife Sophia Francis and son Dylan Francis. Brothers: Michael Francis and wife Jean, Ian Francis, and wife Shonette. Sisters: Charmaigne Francis and husband Jamie; Sherry-Ann Francis and husband Michel, Sharon Francis, and partner Brynton. Nieces and nephews: Katrina and fiancé Josh, Jarreau and wife Stephanie, Tiesha and husband Jason, Amarissa, Janelle, Akadia, Brittany, Felicia and husband Tim. Great nieces and nephews: Kaitlyn, Kriston, Amari, Aniya, Kairo, Ian, and Nathan.
We are thankful he was lent to us by GOD and we cherish the moments we shared with him......... Acts 17:25 And he is not served by human hands............. He himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.
