He was survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Betty Grainger; one son, Terry Grainger; two daughters, Teresa Croft (Paul), Samantha Walker (David); one brother, Wallace (Jean) Mincey; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two of his children; Danny and Roger Grainger; one brother, Kenny Mincey; and two sisters, Frances Mincey, and Linny Hyatt.
Mr. Grainger served in the U.S. Army in Korea and Japan through the years of 1954-1956. He worked at Star Paper Tube. He enjoyed Ham Radio, Harley Davidson, and getting outside and fixing things.
The family will receive friends on March 8, 2024 at 11 AM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732. The Memorial Service will be at 12 PM after the visitation.
