Gates: Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at age 93. Predeceased by her husbands, Salvatore Matina and Francesco Baliva; father and mother, Giovanni and Immocalata Morelli; brother, Giuseppe Morelli; sister, Maria Morelli; daughter-in-law, Christine Baliva. She is survived by her stepchildren, Rino Baliva (Lisa Wolf), Concettina Baliva; grandsons, Frankie and Santino Baliva; great grandson, Vincenzo Baliva; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in Italy and the United States. Mrs. Baliva was a member of the Italian American Sport Club and the Celano Canadian Club and was a retiree of Rochester Products.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday, July 12, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Parish of the Holy Family Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Parish of the Holy Family Church, 4100 Lyell Rd., Rochester, NY 14606 in her memory.
