Carmelita "Carmen" Jaramillo

Carmelita Zeferina Jaramillo "Carmen", 84, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 23, 2024, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.She was born on February 2, 1940, to Adolfo Maldonado and Jesusita Maldonado of Albuquerque, New Mexico.Carmen was a homemaker who provided loving care to her four children and numerous grandchildren. She spoiled her children and grandchildren with homemade tortillas, sopapillas and peanut brittle. She loved sewing and especially making countless beautiful quilts for family and friends.Carmen is survived by her four children, Evelyn Lozada, David Jaramillo and wife Tracy, Greg Jaramillo and wife Maggie, Robert Jaramillo and wife Karla, numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Annie Romero, Filomena Anzures and Crelia Mascarenas.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 47 years, Augustine Jaramillo, her brothers Estevan Maldonado, Willie Maldonado and Onofre Maldonado, and her sister Alicia Mares.Services and burial will be held at a later date.
