I have known Carmelita since the 4th grade at Hodge Elementary School, through graduating from Beach High School in the Class of 1967. Our parents were close friends, and we spent a lot of time together as family friends. Carmelita was very smart as a girl and she became a loyal servant in the Savannah community. I left Savannah after high school and returned in 2013, and I reconnected with Carmelita as we served on a community committee together. My heart goes out to Altheria on the loss of your sister. May God share his grace through this tough time in your life.

To the family of the late Ms. Carmelita Suzanne Maynard. As a longtime member of St. Matthews, the Rosser family remember Carmelita as being as faithful Christian and one who loved her church family. Therefore, I would like to express our heartfelt condolences to her family

You were the oldest and only sister of one of my best friends. I always remember you as kind and a typical older sister. My deepest condolences to your sister, my friend from elementary school. May Peace be upon you.
