Carmella Mary "Milly" Brambilla

Carmella (Milly) Mary Brambilla, age 96, of Brigantine NJ, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia,
peacefully passed away on March 10, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Milly was a force of nature – who enjoyed her family above all. Her favorite times were in the
midst of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. She was a
devout Catholic who loved the Lord and prayed daily. Milly was a unique woman who thrived
on interacting with everyone she met especially on her daily walks to the Brigantine Sea Wall.
She loved gardening focusing on maintaining her cherished fig trees and sharing their fruit with
friends and neighbors. As an Italian American woman, she loved cooking Italian specialties
such as pasta and meatballs and her love for baking brought amazing desserts such as
biscotti, butter cookies and pizzelles. Milly enjoyed following the Philadelphia Flyers and
watching General Hospital. Milly was fun to be around -she loved dancing, scratching lottery
tickets, crocheting and sitting out on her deck enjoying the ocean breezes.
Predeceased by her husband Ralph Ricketti and Ernest Brambilla, sister of the late Anthony
"Tony" Biancaniello, Rose Napolio, Margaret Jannetti.
Loving mother of Lorraine (the late Joseph) Steward, Ralph Ricketti (Patricia Foley), Catherine
Ricketti Sr., Francis Ricketti.
Loving grandmother of Catherine Ricketti (Gregg Stoerrle), Renee DuFrayne, Brian (Voula)
Ricketti, Maureen Steward (Eric Geiger), Maggie (Angel) Clime, Frankie Ricketti.
Loving great-grandmother of the late Ryan Johnson, Nicholas Hartas, Eleni Hartas, Christopher
Ricketti, Matthew DuFrayne, Ashley Stoerrle, Katey Dufrayne, Jacob DuFrayne, Eric Stoerrle,
Andrew Ricketti, Elizabeth Ricketti and many nieces and nephews.
Milly was so very loved by her family. She will be forever in our hearts.
Relatives & Friends are invited to her viewing Tues 9-9:45 am at St. Pius X Church 220
Lawrence Rd. Broomall. Funeral mass will be held at 10 am.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
