Carmella Donze Obituary
Born in Fulton, New York, Millie spent most of her life in Syracuse. She worked for many years as a beautician.
Millie was a devoted communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, where she was an active and faithful member of the parish community. She proudly participated in the Legion of Mary and generously gave her time assisting with church festivals and events.
Above all, Millie was a loving and devoted grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nunzio in 2014; and brother, Isadore "Izzy" Trovato.
Survivors include her son, Mike Donze; daughter, Maria Donze; grandchildren, Cari, Tony, Benny, David, and Heather; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Marie Trovato and Angie (Jamie) Luydens; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her great-granddaughter, Trista, for the loving care, compassion, and dedication she showed in caring for her great-grandmother.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at FARONE & SON, Inc. Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 4th at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 406 Court Street, Syracuse. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.

Dear Mike and Maria. I´m deeply sorry for the loss of your dear mother. She was the sweetest person. I know I used to go to her to do my hair every so often and I loved your dad too. Now they´re together. May your memories of your dear Mom and dad be with you always.

Mrs.Donze was a wonderful woman who devoted herself to her family and church.She and her husband were always involved with St.John the Baptist school and church activities.My sincere condolences to the Donze family.
