Carmen Lynette Keshick

Carmen Lynette Keshick, 48, of Wilson, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at her home.
She was born on September 1, 1977 in Johnsonville, North Carolina daughter to Peter and Linda (Smith) Keshick. Raised in a military family, their family resided in several communities before moving to Wilson when Carmen was 10. She attended Hannahville School.
Carmen worked at the Island Oasis as a cashier for several years.
She enjoyed doing crafts and bead work, gardening, playing the guitar, shopping, and listening to music. Carmen loved hiking and going to waterfalls and spending time with her children.
Among survivors include her children, Autumn D. Keshick (Raymond Peters), Trenton J. Wood-Keshick, and Ethan L. Smith; significant other, Nathan Smith; siblings, Pete Long-Keshick, Tony (Rosetta) Keshick, and Lexie (Jennifer) Keshick, Sr.; and nieces and nephews, Carissa, Dylan, Dana, Joey, Terry, Lexie, Paul, Saul, Thomas, Sky, Beth, Tessa, Nick, Peteray, Evan, Ashley, Jaylyn, and Addison; and long-time best friend, Sandra O'Farrell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Lisa Keshick (TJ Smith) and Frank Medlin.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 4th beginning at 4 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center. The funeral service will follow on Monday, January 5th at 10 a.m. and the burial will follow at noon. (All times are Eastern).
