Carmen Muscat, age 90, of Detroit, Michigan, entered into eternal rest on June 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on November 19, 1934, in Santa Lucija, Gozo, Malta to Salvu and Rosa Sultana, Carmen lived a life grounded in faith, love, and devotion. In 1953, she married her beloved husband, Saviour "Sam" Muscat. Together they journeyed to the United States in 1970, settling in Detroit, where they lovingly raised their four daughters: Joyce Gauci, Margaret (the late Manuel) Karcho, Mary (Kevin) Botz, and Sylvana (Douglas "Dougie Roy") Schraffenberger.
Carmen will be remembered for her deep love of family, her quiet strength, and her enduring resilience. She created a home filled with warmth, tradition, and unwavering support. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband. Carmen leaves behind a legacy of love in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory and example of unconditional love and enduring faith.

hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the Kingdom, the power, and the glory are Yours,
now and forever.
Amen.
