Carmen J. Rinaldi

Carmen J. �Carl� Rinaldi, of Longmeadow, MA passed away peacefully on December 19, 2009 in Springfield, MA with his wife and children by his side. Carmen was the beloved husband of 67 years to Sarafina (Antinore) Rinaldi. He was born in Enfield, CT son of the late Joseph and Angelina Rinaldi. Carmen was a former Enfield resident and had resided in Longmeadow for the majority of his life. He was a parishioner of St. Mary�s Church in Longmeadow, MA. Carmen was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, will long be remembered by his family and friends for living his life to the fullest. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time with his family. He also enjoyed spending time playing cards with his friends at Rinaldi Post in Enfield, CT. Carmen worked for Package Machinery in East Longmeadow, MA for 30 years. He then worked at Rinaldi Italian Specialties, his family-owned restaurant, for the next 30 years before his retirement. At Rinaldi�s he was known for his sauce and meatballs. Carmen is survived by his children: Joseph A. Rinaldi and his wife, Rosemary, Carla A. Rinaldi, Robert J. Rinaldi and his wife, Kathleen all of Longmeadow, MA; and his loving grandchildren: Carmen J. Rinaldi and his wife, Maria, Christina Rinaldi Lalime and her husband, Kevin, Angelina K. Rinaldi and Joseph A. Rinaldi. Carmen also leaves his great-grandchildren: Clifton a. Lalime, Joseph C. Rinaldi and James M. Rinaldi. He is survived by his brothers: Salvatore Rinaldi, Anthony Rinaldi and his sister Frances Rinaldi and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers Ignario Rinaldi, James Rinaldi and Casimino Rinaldi. The Rinaldi family with receive relatives and friends at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. in Enfield, CT on Tuesday (Dec. 22, 2009) from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services in celebration of Carmen�s life will be held on Wednesday (Dec. 23, 2009) with the procession forming at 10:00 a.m. to St. Mary�s Church 519 Longmeadow St. (Rt. 5) in Longmeadow, MA for a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial followed by interment in Longmeadow Cemetery, Longmeadow, MA.
