Carmen Louise Tavanello

Carmen Louise Tavanello, a lifetime resident of Barberton, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 7, 2022 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Born in Barberton on September 11, 1957 to Elva Dean and Victor Tavanello. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis "Honis". Carmen is survived by her son, Mark (Gina) Tavanello; daughter, Shelby (Timothy) Robertson and son, Bobby (Sarita) Tavanello; along with her grandchildren, Keye, Taviyawna, Uniqke, Mark Jr., Joziah, Jozlyn, Bentley, Bella, Mara and Tilly; siblings, Vicki Tavanello, Ronnie Tavanello and Beth (Larry) Gemmell and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. By the grace of God Carmen from a young age persevered through many trials while raising her three beautiful children (In their eyes, she was the strongest woman alive).She was always a helping hand for those in need and opened up her home to so many throughout the years. Carmen loved Bingo, attending Barberton Magic's sports events and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Carmen's funeral service will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203 with Rev. Tim Stults officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Aaron Furman officiating. Her family will receive friends and family from 11 a.m. until time of the service. The family would like to thank everyone in the Barberton community, friends and family for their outpouring of love and support.
