Darlene and family,
I was and still am very sad for your loss. Blubber was a wonderful and devoted friend to my dad and our entire family. He will remain in our hearts forever and many, many years of memories of him will never be forgotten. Darlene, you also have been a wonderful friend to my mom. You are loved very much by all of us and if you need anything please do not hesitate to call. I, as well as everyone in my family, will always be there for you. You have my deepest sympathy, for so many different reasons, and are in my heart and prayers and have been for years.
Love, Lori Hance Potter

To Sally, family and friends,
It was an honor for me to participate in the celebration of Fred's life. It gave me some insights into what kind of person he was, what kind of father he was, and an understanding of his adventurous spirit. I will remember him with you. Thank you again for the privilege.
Much love to all,
Lynn and family

Dear Sally & Family
This is one of the quotes that has given me comfort; may it do the same for you:
To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die. (Thomas Campbell)

Dear Darlene and family, I want to offer my deepest sympathy and words of comfort to both you, and your family at this time of loss. My brother, Bill, and my sister-in-law, Mary, who is your very close friend, have often talked about your wonderful husband "Blubber". I did not know whether to refer to him as Fred, or "Blubber", as Bill called him. I am glad that you included "Blubber" in his obituary. I am sure he would have liked that. I know that he and Bill were friends for almost 50 years. Bill often mentioned him, the fishing trips, the fun they had enjoyed, and the many good times they had spent together. Mary often told me how the four of you would go out to dinner and how all of you enjoyed it. I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this tremendous loss. May you find the peace and comfort that you need at this most difficult time.
