Carol Sue (Suzie) Hill passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 30th, 2022.
Suzie was born on September 9th, 1943, to Ted and Mary Jane (Carlson) Lyons in Crandon, Wisconsin. She was one of four children.
Suzie grew up in Crandon and attended school there. She was part of the class of 1961.
In 1960, she married Ronald Anderson. Together, they were blessed with four children: Larry, Bill, Eric and Ronica. They divorced in later years.
Suzie worked and managed Crandon's Ben Franklin Store, which later became Hometown Variety, for 40 years.
Suzie married Milton Hill in 1992. Together, they moved to Pearson, Wisconsin where they owned and operated Hill's Still Supper Club and Catering until Milt's passing in October 2017. Milt and Suzie enjoyed many happy years traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Suzie was a talented decorator, and her home was a reflection of that talent. She loved cooking for her family and friends and was well known for her homemade macaroni and cheese, barbeque sauce, and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting.
She was a kind and loving person, and she touched many lives. She was happiest when surrounded by her beloved family and dear friends. She was a "superwoman" mom, who was adored by her family.
Suzie is survived by her children Larry Anderson, Bill (Lisa) Anderson, Eric Anderson, and Ronica Anderson; her stepdaughters Kim, Kristyn, and Suanne, who she loved as her own. She is further survived by grandchildren Erica, Sara, Tyler, Jacee, Halee, Katherine, Garrett, Austin, Riley, Jesse, Josh, Karly, Brandon, Justin, Jordan, Jacob, Brianna, Taylor, Amber, Kourtney, and Danni; thirteen great-grandchildren, and a sister, Toni Hickey; "sisters" Marlene Statezny and Donna (Glen) Pfeifer, brothers-in-law Jack Smith, Edmond Hill, and Michael (Chris) Hill, many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bill and Larry, and her husband, Milt.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Suzie's honor at a later date.
