Born on June 1, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, Carol was the daughter of Norman and Kledith (Caudill) Cave. She worked as a Bank Manager for PNC. In 2004, Carol married John Bader, and together they built a life in Fredericksburg, IN.

Carol was a devoted daughter of Christ and member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, and reading. But above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, and her niece, Jennifer Lynch.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John Bader; her daughters, Lisa (Hobert) Langley, Laura Skidmore, and Michelle Wisehart; her son, Aaron (Niki) Bader; her sister, Sherry Bryant; as well as her cherished grandchildren: Richard Skidmore, Sarah (Thomas), Kelsie (Tyler), Steven (Savanna), Michael, Mabel, and Evritt. She also leaves behind her great-granddaughter, Guin, who brought her much joy; as well as two nephews and a niece, Jeremy, Joseph, and Julia Lynch.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra, IN. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the same location. Cremation will take place after the services.
