Carol Lois Bieschke, 86 years old, of Baytown, TX, went to be with her Lord peacefully on May 24, 2025. Carol was born on October 22, 1938, in a small hometown hospital located in Gillett,Wisconsin. She was born into a dairy farm family. Carol lived her life in Gillett, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Gaithersburg, MD; Columbia, SC; and her final hometown of Baytown, TX. Carol held business positions at several companies throughout her life, including work at Blatz Brewery, American Motor Company, and the Postmaster General's Office in Washington, DC. She finished her career at FASEB (Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology) as a career opportunity event planner. This position allowed her to travel the country and meet many highly interesting individuals, which she truly enjoyed.
She was a member of a Volkswalk walking group and voluntarily managed the upkeep of various hiking trails. She also volunteered her time at various organizations. She loved camping and had annual tickets to the Army/Navy games. Travel excursions with family, reading, working crossword puzzles, and eating grilled oysters and crab cakes were some of her other passions.
Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sibling. She will be remembered by her four children: Kevin, Karen, Karla, and Kelly, and their spouses; twelve grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law (whose names are listed near her children with spouses: Kevin and Christal Bieschke of Baytown, TX; Karen Basterash of West Bend, WI; Karla and Jim Mick of Parsons, WV; and Kelly and Wendy Bieschke of Quinton, VA). Twelve grandchildren with spouses: - Kyle and Kevyn Bieschke - Collin and Kerri Bieschke - Kaylyn and Clinton Looney - Nicholas and Madi Bieschke - Klista Bieschke with Joseph Gutierrez - Heather Bieschke - Kody Bieschke - Jimmy Basterash - Justin and Megan Basterash - April Basterash and fiancée Matt Beistle - Jesse Bieschke with Tabitha Raines - Cody Bieschke Great-grandchildren: - Kirk (4 years old) and Klark (2 years old) - children of Kyle and Kevyn Bieschke - Jack Looney (3 years old) - child of Kaylyn and Clinton Looney - Ariyah Tucker (7 months old) - child of Kody Bieschke She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Gail Bartz of Crosby, TX. Carol joins in heaven her parents, Alvin and Alma Bartz; her brother, Roland Bartz; and her sister, Diane Bartz.
Carol, Mom, Grandma Carol was an inspiration of independence, adventure, and a curiosity for life. She will be missed by all who surrounded her including her four-legged children, Ziggy and Bruno. To send flowers to the family of Carol, please visit our floral store.
