VERONICA BIESCHKE

Veronica Bieschke (nee Rogers), 89, formerly of Wilmette IL., passed away peacefully on February 23rd, 2024. Veronica was born and raised in Dundalk, Co. Louth Ireland. She came over to Chicago on a visa to work at Cook County Hospital's emergency department after completing her nursing training in London. It was then that she met Lawrence "Larry" Bieschke and they married in July of 1964, back home in Dundalk. She and Larry lived in Wilmette, where they raised their two children. Veronica had a rewarding career as a registered nurse for over 30 years. She was a devoted Catholic. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Bieschke. Mother to Andrew (Julie) Bieschke and Jane (David) Kennedy. Proud nana to Devin, Nolan, and Griffin Kennedy. Preceded in death by her sister, Ann (Mike) Piper; and her parents, Francis (Frank) and Lillian Rogers. She is survived by her siblings, Bernadette, Aidan, Geraldine, Mary, and Fergus. She was an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 9am until the 10:00am, when a Mass will be celebrated all at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley.
