Carol Blessing

Carol Blessing, 79, of Charles Town, WV passed away on February 26, 2026.

She was born Dec. 4, 1946. She was the daughter of Joseph and Lois Fragapane, of Rome, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She will be greatly missed by her surviving husband, Mark Blessing, sons, Jeff Craig, Darin Craig and Shawn Craig, brothers, Joel Fragapane, Robert Fragapane and Stewart Fragapane, sister, Denise Internicola, grandsons, Colin Craig, Aaron Craig, granddaughters, Marissa Craig, Kim Sprahar and Allison Craig,

Most of her adult life she was a Mutual Clerk and Teller in Maryland and Charles Town where she was loved by her customers for her smile and winning personality, job skills and speed.

She served as Union President representing Mutuals and Valets fighting for living wages and acceptable working conditions.

She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her. Heaven has a new angel.

She had an unfailing love for her sons and would protect and defend them like a mother bear with her cubs.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson, WV with Father Stephen Stahley officiating.

Interment will be private.
