Carol Ann (Inbody) Breitigam peacefully entered the Kingdom of
Heaven on Thursday, August 21 st at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She
was born August 9 th, 1942 in Bluffton to Cleo (Nick) and Gladys
(Boehm) Inbody.
She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, where she was a lifelong member. She taught Sunday School, accompanied the Junior Choir and served on church council as Financial Secretary.
She married Charles Breitigam on November 19 th, 1961 and they
enjoyed nearly 64 years of wedded bliss.
Carol is survived by her husband Charlie and their 3 children, Jeffrey Breitigam, Julie Breitigam and Jackie (David) Bayer all of Findlay. She was also blessed with 3
grandchildren, Riley Bayer (Michael Neumaier) of Columbus, Mitchell
Bayer of Los Angeles, Caifornia and Hannah (Jeremiah) Burden of
Delaware, Ohio She also had one great granddaughter, Eleanor
Neumaier, who was the light of her life. She also survived by many
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and
her loving brother Gerald Inbody. Carol graduated from Arlington High School in 1960 and began working at Marathon in Findlay. She then worked at Theatrical
Accessories and retired after 25 years at Cooper Tire, but continued
working a few days a week even after retirement. Her passion was her family, especially feeding them. Her family is blessed to have compiled a cookbook of "Grandma's Favorites", so that her food will be enjoyed for many years to come.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25 th from 4-8pm at St
Paul Church (9340 TR 32, Jenera) with funeral at the church on
Tuesday, August 26 th at 11am. Visitation will be held from 10-11am
before the service. Memorials can be made to the Arlington Athletic
Boosters and/or Arlington Music Boosters. Condolences may be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com. CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington is assisting the family with arrangements.
