Carol Dover Brice

Carol Dover Brice passed away on Monday February 13, 2023 at her home in Winnsboro at the age of 74.
She was born in 1948 in Chester, South Carolina. Carol was the daughter of the late Walter James and Pauline Payne Dover, Sr. She had two brothers, Walter James, Jr. and Michael Wayne Dover, both who preceded her in death.
She was married to the late Joe Baxter Brice, Sr. They met in 1967 and married in 1968. They had two children, Joe Baxter, Jr (Winnsboro) and Jennifer Brice (Lancaster).
Carol was a Fairfield County employee in the Probate Court where she worked for more than 30 years. She loved the community she served. Carol also was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock PM Thursday, February 16, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Winnsboro with burial to follow in the church cemetery on Hudson Street Ext in Winnsboro. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church.
She will be greatly missed by her children, family, and friends. The family is asking in lieu of flowers to please send memorials to First Baptist Church of Winnsboro, American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.
